Bluesette was composed by Toots Thielmans, a Belgian Harmonica player who popularized the harmonica in jazz. He was an avid whistler and often whistled as he played guitar note for note. This is how he composed Bluesette. A fellow musician hearing him encouraged Toots to write it down. He did, and it has been recorded around the world by Jazz greats and is included on this CD for your enjoyment,. Thank you for supporting live jazz! -George Torrella
